Job summary

TrueNorth Steel in West Fargo, ND is seeking a Material Handler to move and distribute material using forklifts, cranes and related equipment. The role supports fabrication operations and requires safety and quality adherence.

Shifts are 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday-Thursday and 6:00 am to 11:30 am Friday, with overtime as needed. Pay ranges from $23.46 to $25.00+ per hour (DOE) plus a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Forklift and/or overhead crane experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to unload, load and distribute material with minimal supervision.
• Communicate with team members verbally or non-verbally.
• Work safely in a variety of weather conditions (wind, heat, cold, rain, snow).
• Work flexible hours and overtime or weekends as needed.
• Prompt and dependable attendance.

Description

POSITION:Material Handler

SHIFT:6:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Thursday, 6:00 am - 11:30 am Friday (OT as needed)

PAY RATE:$23.46 - $25.00+ per hour (DOE) + Full Benefits Package

LOCATION: West Fargo, ND

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is responsible for the general handling of materials where applicable, using overhead cranes, forklifts, telehandlers, and other similar equipment. The handling of material may be associated with various areas, including unloading in-bound material, loading out-bound material or moving and distributing material to various operation areas for fabrication.
