Weidmann Electrical Technology is hiring a 2nd Shift Material Handler in Urbana, OH. This full-time on-site role entails delivering raw materials, packing and sorting, operating forklifts, and collaborating with teammates to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Overtime includes every 3rd weekend; other opportunities may arise via cross-training. A high school diploma is required and physical tasks include lifting up to 50 lbs and operating heavy equipment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to operate a variety of lifts (forklift, clamp truck, stand-up) and related equipment.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (ruler, tape, caliper, micrometer).
• Lift and manipulate parts weighing ~50 lbs.
• Willing to cross-train and train others as needed.
• Capable of multi-tasking with minimal supervision in a team environment.

The role...

You will provide a full range of material handling support to 2nd Shift at our Urbana, OH facility. Duties include but are not limited to: delivering raw materials to production, packing and sorting materials, operating a variety of fork trucks, utilizing safe operating procedures, and collaborating with team members throughout the facility.

Overtime: Required overtime every 3rd weekend, Saturday and Sunday. Additional overtime may be required depending volunteer opportunities and cross training opportunities.

How You'll Make An Impact...

What Do You Bring...

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to operate a variety of lifts, (forklift, clamp truck, stand-up), and stretch wrap machinery, manual and/or electric hand jack, strapping equipment, bailers/compactor, and core cutter
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as a ruler, tape measure, caliper and micrometer
• Physical requirements - lift and manipulate unwieldly parts weighing approximately 50 lbs
• Ability to train others and willingness to cross train
• Ability to multi-task and work with little supervision in a team environment
