Job description

Who we are looking for:

We are currently seeking a Material Handler based in Thomasville, GA. Reporting to the Shift Lead, the Material Handler will be responsible for packing finished goods, monitoring products for defects, assisting with product start-up or changeovers, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

What you’ll do:

• Bundle pipe according to inventory and shipping specifications.
• Update Hour by Hour boards and compare product attributes with templates or samples to verify quality standards.
• Operate and monitor machinery during production.
• Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to meet productivity and site goals.
• Follow all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately.

What you’ll bring:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in machine operation or mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes is desirable.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.

Within 3 months, you’ll:

• Complete required training.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders.
• Become proficient in Atkore’s Business System and understand your role’s importance to daily operations.

Compensation and Benefits:

The current pay range is estimated at $16.25 to $19.00 per hour, depending on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives.
