Job description

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Thomasville, GA

Reporting To: Manufacturing Shift Lead

This role involves confirming products with the schedule, packaging finished products, and performing minor troubleshooting tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Package finished goods in proper crate quantities
• Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goals
• Assist with the operation of PVC extrusion lines
• Perform maintenance and cleanup in production and storage areas
• Conduct quality control duties, including monitoring saw cuts, pipe length, bell fit, print line confirmation, reference line spacing, and product color
• Adhere to all safety procedures and report unsafe conditions immediately

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience with material handling and packing devices
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted

Within 3 Months, You Will:

• Complete required training
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders
• Become familiar with Atkore’s Business System and understand your role's importance to daily operations
