Job summary

Magnum Venus Products, Inc. in Lenoir City, TN is seeking a Material Handler. You will count, weigh, and verify incoming shipments, route items to departments, and put stock away using a lift truck.

You’ll inspect shipments, log receipts, and investigate inventory discrepancies, supporting cycle counts. A high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of related experience are preferred, forklift experience recommended. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, 401k, PTO and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Count, weigh, or measure items of incoming shipments to verify information against invoices, orders, and bills of lading.
• Examine and unpack incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items.
• Route items to various departments and put away stock items in proper location.
• Operate a lift truck or hoist.
• Verify receipts and log them according to the required procedures.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Conduct bin and stock maintenance (physically & in ERP system).
• Advise management of cycle count issues on a timely basis.
• Receive all inbound parts & transfers.
• Other projects as needed.

MVP is seeking to hire Material Handlers for our facility in Lenoir City, TN. In this role you will count, weigh or measure incoming shipments to verify information against invoices, orders and bills of lading. You will rout items to various departments and put away stock while operating a lift truck or hoist. In addition, you will investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies while advising management of cycle count issues.

Requirements
