Job summary

Magnum Venus Products, Inc. is hiring Material Handlers for our facility in Lenoir City, TN. You will count, weigh, or measure incoming shipments to verify information against invoices and bills of lading, route items to departments, and put away stock using a lift truck or hoist.

You will investigate inventory discrepancies, log receipts, and support cycle counts. We provide a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401k, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1+ year of related experience preferred.
• Forklift operations experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs up to 2/3 of workday.
• Other physical activity includes standing, climbing, stooping, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and reaching.

Responsibilities

• Count, weigh, or measure items of incoming shipments to verify information against invoices, orders, bills of lading
• Examine and unpack incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items
• Route items to various departments and put away stock items in proper location
• Operate lift truck or hoist
• Verify receipts and log them according to the required procedures
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Conduct bin and stock maintenance (physically & in ERP system)
• Advise management of cycle count issues on a timely basis
• Receive all inbound parts & transfers
• Other projects as needed
