Job summary

Magnum Venus Products, Inc. is hiring a Material Handler for our facility in Lenoir City, Tennessee. You will count, weigh, or measure incoming shipments to verify information against invoices and bills of lading, and route items to departments while operating a lift truck.

You will help resolve inventory discrepancies, maintain stock in ERP, and report cycle count issues to management. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1+ year of related experience and forklift experience

• Forklift operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Count, weigh, or measure items of incoming shipments to verify information against invoices, orders, bills of lading.
• Examine and unpack incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items.
• Route items to various departments and put away stock items in proper location.
• Operate lift truck or hoist.
• Verify receipts and log them according to the required procedures.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Conduct bin and stock maintenance (physically & in ERP system).
• Advise management of cycle count issues on a timely basis.
• Receive all inbound parts & transfers.
• Other projects as needed.

Job description

MVP is seeking to hire Material Handlers for our facility in Lenoir City, TN. In this role you will count, weigh or measure incoming shipments to verify information against invoices, orders and bills of lading. You will rout items to various departments and put away stock while operating a lift truck or hoist. In addition, you will investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies while advising management of cycle count issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ year of related experience preferred
• Forklift operations experience preferred
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs up to 2/3 of workday
• Other physical activity include standing, climbing, stooping, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and reaching
