Job Details

Hours: Monday – Friday 1st shift: 6am-2pm

Description

• Setup the production equipment and supplies before executing the job orders.
• Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.
• Perform warehouse responsibilities.
• Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions, and repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operation.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
• Accurately load material and meticulously monitor machine’s process and finished product.
• Properly complete production paperwork and utilize a barcoding system.
• Review and follow shipping order instructions and specifications.
• Must be able to operate an air compressed bander.
• Must be able to read packaging instructions on work orders.
• Expected to be able to handle tasks/cross-train to help the company meet its goals.
• Forklift experience/Certification.

Required Education And Experience

• High School degree or equivalent. Prior experience or training in a related field or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Math – Must be able to use and understand simple mathematics, using addition, subtraction, fractions and decimals. Knowledge of the Standard/Imperial measuring system is required; knowledge of the metric system is a plus.
• Understanding and use of basic measuring instruments required; micrometers, digital calipers, tape measure is required.
