Responsabilidades

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and products.
• Move materials to designated storage areas using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Organize, label, and safely store materials to prevent damage or deterioration.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and report discrepancies.
• Pick and prepare materials for production or shipping according to work orders.
• Pack and label products for shipment and coordinate with shipping and receiving teams.
• Follow safety procedures and properly use PPE and material handling equipment.

What You’ll Do as a Material Handler

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and products
• Move materials to designated storage areas using manual and powered equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
• Organize, label, and safely store materials to help prevent damage or deterioration
• Maintain accurate inventory records, perform cycle counts, and report discrepancies or shortages
• Pick and prepare materials for production or shipping according to work orders or customer orders
• Pack and label products for shipment and coordinate with shipping and receiving teams
• Follow safety procedures, properly use personal protective equipment (PPE), and safely operate material handling equipment

What You Need to Bring to the Material Handler Role

• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
• Ability to follow established safety procedures and properly use required PPEStrong attention to detail when handling inventory, orders, and shipping labels
• Ability to maintain organized and accurate inventory records
• Ability to work effectively with shipping, receiving, and production teams
