Job summary

Superior Oil Company in Cowpens, SC is seeking a Material Handler for our first shift to move products between pails, drums, and totes, read chemical paperwork, and conduct QC sampling. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.

– 5:00 p.m., with a pay rate of $21.50 per hour and a safety-focused culture. The role requires lifting up to 55 lbs, forklift operation, and adherence to PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong safety mindset.
• Verbal and written communication with co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Transfer products into and out of pails, drums, and totes using transfer pumps and hoses.
• Read paperwork with chemical amounts and blending instructions.
• Pull product samples and submit them to the Lab for quality control.
• Label containers and secure closures.
• Inspect, label, store, and prepare products for shipment.
• Stage, load, and unload pails, drums, and totes.
• Operate a forklift.
• Wear required PPE for safety.
• Keep work area safe, clean, and orderly.
• Lift and/or move 55 lbs.
• Cross-train in shipping/receiving, bulk handling, inventory control, chemical packaging, fiberglass handling, tote cleaning, preventive maintenance, and yard truck spotting.

What We’re Looking For

We are currently seeking a Material Handler to work at ourCowpens, SC location.

Schedule

• Full-time, 1st shift
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., additional hours may be required
• Pay:$21.50

What You’ll Do
