Job summary

SUPERIOR INDUSTRIAL SOLUTIONS INC is seeking a Material Handler in Cowpens, SC for a full-time, 1st shift role from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position pays $21.50 per hour and includes standard benefits.

You will transfer products, read chemical paperwork, prepare shipments, and operate a forklift while following safety protocols. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong safety mindset, forklift certification (training provided), and solid communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong safety mindset.
• Forklift certification (training provided).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transfer products into and out of pails, drums, and totes using transfer pumps and hoses.
• Read paperwork with chemical amounts and blending instructions.
• Pull product samples and submit them to the Lab for quality control.
• Label containers and secure closures.
• Inspect, label, store, and prepare products for shipment.
• Stage, load, and unload pails, drums, and totes.
• Operate a forklift.
• Wear required PPE for safety.
• Keep your work area safe, clean, and orderly.
• Lift and/or move 55 lbs.
• Cross-train in areas such as shipping/receiving, bulk handling, inventory control, chemical packaging, fiberglass handling, tote cleaning, preventive maintenance, and yard truck spotting
