Job summary

Standard Textile Carolina, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to operate forklifts and related equipment, load and unload rolls of cloth, and handle shipping/receiving duties.

You will maintain accurate inventory records and assist with form completion while helping maintain a clean, safe work environment. Qualified candidates possess a high school diploma, forklift experience, and strong reading/writing in English, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous forklift operation experience required.
• Good communication skills and ability to read/write English.
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift and carry at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, tuggers, and cherry pickers to load & unload rolls of cloth and other products.
• Perform all shipping and receiving functions and documents.
• Maintain inventory with priority in accurate scanning/tracking.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks as scheduled.
• Maintain required forms and records.
• Help to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
