Job summary

Standard Textile in the United States is seeking a Material Handler to support loading, unloading, and storage of cloth and related products. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, tuggers, and cherry pickers to move rolls and other goods, and you will handle shipping/receiving documentation and inventory scans.

You will also perform routine maintenance checks, maintain records, and help keep the work environment clean and safe while contributing to accurate tracking and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous forklift operation experience.
• Good communication skills and ability to read/write English.
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift and carry at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, tuggers, and cherry pickers to load & unload rolls of cloth and other products.
• Perform all shipping and receiving functions and documents.
• Maintain inventory with priority in accurate scanning/tracking.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks as scheduled.
• Maintain required forms and records.
• Help to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
