Job summary

Standard Textile Carolina, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler at our New Jersey facility to support loading, unloading, scanning, picking, and storage of product. You will help ensure accurate inventory and efficient material flow, while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The role requires a high school diploma, prior forklift experience, and strong communication skills with the ability to read and write in English, plus the strength to lift at least 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift operation experience.
• Good communication skills and ability to read/write English.
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift and carry at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, tuggers, and cherry pickers to load & unload rolls of cloth and other products.
• Perform all shipping and receiving functions and documents.
• Maintain inventory with priority in accurate scanning/tracking.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks as scheduled.
• Maintain required forms and records.
• Help to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
