The position starts in Shipping with opportunities to advance to Mixer, Winder, Vat, Mid Operator, or Palletizer. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, 1–3 years forklift experience, and strong problem-solving and customer-service skills. SAP experience is a plus.

Compensation The base hourly rate for this position is $21.59. This position is responsible for communicating and supporting JM core values and delivering the JM experience. This position is part of the Pay for Skills program and is part of skills progression. This employee will be placed in Shipping, but may advance to any of the following positions: Mixer, Winder, Vat, Mid Operator, or Palletizer. Hours are Mon.-Fri. 8 am -4 pm.

Requirements

• Strong time management, organizational, planning, and self-motivation skills

Physical Requirements

• The ability to stand for extended periods
• The ability to manually lift, push or pull at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes while in awkward positions
• Use of hands (repetitive motion, grabbing, feeling, sensing, pulling)
• The ability to work safely in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful work environment
• The ability to safely and effectively work in an often-dusty work environment that experiences a broad range of temperatures (very hot to very cold)
• The ability to withstand the rigors of working a 12(or 8)-hour rotating shift schedule
• The ability to bend, stoop or kneel repetitively
• The ability to reach or work above the shoulder
