Job summary

TreeHouse Foods, Inc. in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Material Handler to join our production team on the night shift.

This full-time role operates 11 PM to 7 AM with rotating days and weeks; overtime may be available based on business needs. The Material Handler will run food manufacturing processing equipment safely and efficiently, perform housekeeping per GMPs, follow work instructions for food safety and quality, and identify/report safety or quality issues.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment – food manufacturing a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

The Material Handler role at the Lancaster location provides support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance, quality, and safety throughout the plant.

You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Competitive compensation: earn $21.25 per hour, including shift differential. Earn more with opportunities for additional overtime!
• Running food manufacturing processing equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performing facility/work area housekeeping duties in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices and company policies and procedures.
• Following work instructions and processes to ensure food safety and quality.
• Being responsible for recognizing and reporting employee safety, food safety, and/or quality issues.

Important Details:

This is a full-time permanent role, which operates 11PM to 7AM, rotating days/weeks. Overtime may be available depending on the needs of the business.

About You:

• Demonstrated experience following instructions/process documents and providing effective communication, both verbal and written.
