Job description

Job Title: Material Handler

The Material Handler is responsible for providing tool parts and materials for the repair technicians to process tools.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide tool parts and materials for repair technicians
• Remove and deliver recyclable material to the proper location
• Remove finished products and transport to staging area for shipping
• Report low quantity of parts daily
• Ensure repair tools are distributed to the tech workbenches in a timely manner
• Practice 5S and safety procedures
• Verify that parts delivered match the parts on the order sheet for technicians
• React effectively to change and handle other assignments, including working different shifts as needed

Physical Demands

• Standing for long periods
• Repetitive motion
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling of parts and containers
• Work in various temperature conditions

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good communication, reading, and writing skills
• Basic computer skills
