Job summary

CompX Grayslake is seeking a Material Handler in Grayslake, IL to support loading, unloading, and parts movement in a manufacturing environment. You will handle parts, operate scales, and use powered equipment under safety protocols.

You will work with ERP systems to document transactions and maintain accurate part counts; prior experience with SyteLine is a plus. The role requires ability to lift up to 35 lbs, standing and walking throughout the shift, and commitment to safety with eye

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to be trained to operate powered equipment (fork lift, pallet jack, tugger).
• ERP system knowledge is a plus.
• Stand/walk for long periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Eye protection and safety shoes required.

Salary Range: $18.06 To $23.65 Hourly

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Physical Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to be trained to operate all powered equipment vehicles (i.e., fork lift, pallet jack, tugger, etc.).
• Repetitive lifting, loading and unloading parts into machines to be cleaned or deburred.
• Constant exposure to indoor manufacturing environment.
• Constant standing and walking throughout the work day.
• Knowledge of ERP system, a plus.
• Required to wear eye protection and safety shoes.
