Job summary

CompX Grayslake is seeking a Material Handler in Grayslake, IL to load and unload parts, maintain machine conditions, and process parts through ERP systems in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

This full-time role requires lifting up to 35 lbs, operating powered equipment, and working in an indoor environment. You will contribute to accurate part handling and production flow on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 lbs.
• Able to be trained to operate powered equipment (fork lift, pallet jack, tugger).
• ERP systems knowledge is a plus.
• Constant exposure to indoor manufacturing environment.
• Frequent standing and walking throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload Washer.
• Maintain machine conditions; perform fluid level checks on wash machine.
• Complete transactions through ERP system.
• Weigh, count and accurately maintain parts in the department.
• Ability to operate scales.
• Operate powered equipment to move parts throughout the plant.
