Job Title:Material Handler – 1st & 2nd Shift
Location:Glastonbury, CT
Job Type:Full-Time

Material HandlerShifts & Pay:

• 1st Shift:5:00 AM – 1:30 PM |Pay:$16.35/hr

• 2nd Shift:1:30 PM – 9:30 PM |Pay:$17.18/hr
  Overtime available; bonus rates apply.

Material Handler Overview:
We are hiring reliable and hardworkingMaterial Handlers / General Laborersto support our operations in the production and assembly of highway guardrails, signposts, and traffic light supports. This is a physical, hands-on role that requires attention to detail, the ability to work outdoors, and a commitment to safety.

Material Handler Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with assembly and fabrication of metal products

• Follow verbal instructions and work efficiently as part of a team

• Use hand tools and measuring devices (reading a ruler is a plus)

• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Work outdoors in various weather conditions

Material Handler Requirements:

• Ability to perform manual labor (lifting, bending, climbing, standing)

• Steel-toed boots required (other PPE provided)

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

• Must pass a drug test and background check

Material Handler Preferred Skills (Not Required):

• Forklift operation

• Welding experience

• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16”

• Basic math skills

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
