Job description

As a stocking team member, you will unload deliveries and stock products on the sales floor and in backrooms. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and being part of an energetic team, Wegmans is the place for you!

What will I do?

• Provide excellent customer service and answer questions promptly.
• Unload deliveries and stock cases, displays, and backroom coolers with inventory.
• Verify that deliveries match invoices and assist with tracking vendor credits, inventory, damages, and variances.
• Keep shelves and cases clean and well-stocked to ensure freshness and appeal.
• Maximize sales through proper stocking, rotation, and merchandising in the store and backrooms.
• Handle products properly, operate equipment safely, keep logs, and follow sanitation and safety guidelines.
• May work in cold temperatures and lift between 8-32 pounds regularly, with occasional lifts over 50 pounds.
