POSITION SUMMARY

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for general warehouse activities, including receiving and put away of inventory, timely supply of materials to the production line, service parts distribution support, transacting material movements in our BlueCrest ERP System, maintaining physical organization in the warehouse and production area, conducting inventory cycle counts, and supporting parts delivery for recon and engineering. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and technical knowledge will contribute to the efficient operation of our facility.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive incoming inventory and accurately put it away in designated locations.
  • Ensure timely supply of materials to the production line, keeping it well-stocked to avoid disruptions.
  • Provide support in distributing service parts to the appropriate departments or teams.
  • Execute material movements accurately in the BlueCrest ERP System, maintaining accurate records.
  • Organize the warehouse and production area to optimize space and facilitate efficient operations.
  • Perform regular inventory cycle counts to maintain accurate stock levels and identify discrepancies.
  • Assist in delivering parts for reconditioning and engineering purposes.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

The role will report to the Warehouse and Inventory Manager collaborate with manufacturing cell leaders and experienced machine builders.

Qualifications

MINIMUM:

  • High school diploma, GED, or in process.
  • Good mechanical aptitude; fluent in reading and understanding English – grade 12 level or higher; Math skills – grade 12 level or higher; familiarity with hand tools.

PREFERRED:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing warehouse environment is highly desirable, as it provides an understanding of product components and handling materials effectively.
  • Proficiency in using computers and various software applications to record and track inventory movements.
  • A technical background or familiarity with technical terminology and concepts is advantageous.
  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision.
