Job summary

Custom Goods LLC is seeking a Material Handler I to receive, ship, sort and store materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will work with the warehouse team to ensure accuracy and timely processing of orders.

Responsibilities include moving materials, labeling, wrapping pallets, using RF equipment to track inventory, and putting away products in designated locations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of warehouse and distribution experience preferred.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Moves materials off trucks, pallets or racks and prepares orders for shipment.
• Sorts and segregates materials onto correct pallet or locations based on item number.
• Places labels on boxes or pallets as instructed in the process.
• Wraps pallets with stretch wrap and other packaging supplies.
• Puts away product in designated warehouse locations.
• Identifies damage, loss, or surplus and communicates issues.
• Uses RF equipment to track product.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.
• Follows instructions, communicates with supervisors and coworkers, and maintains a safe, clean workspace.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Summary/Objective:

In this role, the Material Handler I will be responsible for receiving, shipping, sorting and storing materials. This role includes working with other warehouse team members.

Essential Functions:

• Utilizes RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track product
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift, push and pull and withstand temperatures in a warehouse environment
