Job summary

The Food Source International, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to support production through efficient warehouse operations, accurate picking, and timely movement of materials.

You will assist with staging, labeling, palletizing, and inventory tasks to ensure materials reach the production line on time. Qualified candidates will have a High school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment with adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior custodial or warehouse experience a plus.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Must wear required PPE, including safety boots.

Responsibilities

• Support production with timely delivery of raw materials and packaging supplies.
• Perform labeling, wrapping, and palletizing tasks as assigned.
• Conduct basic inventory counts and assist with stock rotation.

Supervisory responsibilities: None

Backup: Warehouse Operator

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift).
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and handling of materials.
• Work performed in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures.

Work environment/Hours

• Warehouse Environment including storage warehouse (not climate controlled) and food production areas (climate controlled)
• Equipment type: scales, blenders, metal detection, and other manufacturing equipment
• Must be able to lift 55lbs or greater
• Must be able to stand/climb ladders
• Fulltime, Office hours are typically 7:304:00pm, MondayFriday with occasional overtime.
