Job summary

Air Comfort, Inc. in Frazeysburg, OH is seeking a Material Handler to manage material flow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will stock receipts, stage material for production lines, and move finished goods to shipping.

Prior warehouse experience and RF/wms familiarity preferred. Forklift certification is required or obtained within 90 days. The role offers predictable hours Mon-Thu with optional OT on Fridays, competitive pay up to $19.25/hr, and a benefits package after 30 days of

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED preferred.
• Two months job related experience required, including operating Material Handling equipment.
• Forklift certification required. Must be acquired on the job within 90 days.
• Knowledge of company safety, OSHA and department policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Uses RF and material handling equipment to stock receipt of manufactured and purchased products.
• Unloads, loads, and stages purchased product and manufactured product receipts.
• Replenishes machine centers using a variety of material handling equipment and RF.
• Operates material handling equipment with appropriate certification.
• Process receipt validation and inventory accuracy using RF.
• Follows safety policies and maintains 5S in the workspace.
• Makes recommendations to improve processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Title:Material Handler

Location:Frazeysburg, OH

Schedule:Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm (Occasional OT on Fridays 6am-2:30pm)

• (2) 15 min paid breaks and (1) 30 min unpaid lunch

Pay Rate:Starting up to $19.25/hr

Job Summary:

Candidatemust have experience with material handling and general warehouse practices. Duties will include handling all types of material coming into and going out of the manufacturing plant; ensuring that materials are placed in their proper location; gathering and staging material for production lines; moving finished goods from production toappropriate locationor loading for shipment.Previouswork experience in afast pacedindustrial environment isrequired. The person selected will be working directly with production,purchasing, shipping, and receiving personnel.

Primary Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following:

• Uses Radio Frequency (RF) and varietyof material handling equipment to stock receipt of manufactured and purchasedproducts. Unloads, loads, and stages purchasedproduct and manufactured product receipts.
• Replenishes machine centers using a variety of material handling equipment and RF.
• Operates variety of material handling equipment with appropriate certification. Load and unload material from pallet racking
• Uses Radio Frequency (RF) equipment to process and validate receipt of product for inventory accuracy.
• Familiar and able to conduct cycle counts, physicalinventoryand receiving inspection
• Follows Company safety and department policies and procedures.
• Maintains neat and clean work environment following 5Smethodology
• Makes recommendations to continually improve processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma / GED preferred.
• Twomonthsjob related experiencerequired, including operating Material Handling equipment.
• Warehouse management systems experience preferred withabilityto perform RF functions.
• Forklift operation certificationrequired. Must beacquiredon the job within90 days
• Knowledge of company safety, OSHA and department policies and procedures.
• Crane experience helpful but notrequired
• Good applied interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehendbasic English and perform basic math functions.
• Ability to be self-motivated.

Workplace Experience:

Previousmanufacturing experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to Stand for Long Periods of Time
• Ability to use Power Tools safely
