Job summary

Paris Corporation in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a dependable Material Handler to support our Distribution team. This full-time, safety-focused role involves receiving, storing, moving, and shipping inventory with attention to accuracy and efficiency.

You will operate sit-down forklifts, enter receipts in the WMS, coordinate inbound deliveries, and pick/pack orders for shipment. The job emphasizes safety, teamwork, and strong organizational skills in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
  • Prior sit-down forklift experience is highly preferred.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload, receive, and ship products safely and efficiently.
  • Operate sit-down forklifts and other material handling equipment to move materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Receive inbound shipments and accurately enter receipts into the warehouse management system.
  • Coordinate and schedule inbound deliveries for cartons, pallets, and other warehouse materials.
  • Pick, pack, wrap, label, and stage customer orders for shipment.
  • Load outbound trucks while ensuring shipments are accurate, secure, and damage-free.
  • Process and release customer orders within the warehouse management system following carrier pickup.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with physical inventory activities to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Interact professionally with truck drivers, carriers, vendors, and internal team members.
  • Complete daily forklift and equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with other warehouse and distribution duties as assigned.

We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused Material Handler to join our Distribution team in Fort Worth, TX. This position plays a critical role in supporting warehouse operations by receiving, storing, moving, and shipping inventory while maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

This is a full-time, safety-sensitive position requiring the safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Requirements

Your Background:

  • Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse best practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems and adapt to changing priorities.
