Job summary

Qualified Staffing is seeking a Material Handler in Flint. The role operates on weekdays with 7:00am to 4:30pm shifts, overtime possible including weekends.

The position pays $20 per hour and requires forklift experience, load/unload duties, and material flow support in a production environment. The candidate should be able to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 75 pounds, and maintain safety and cleanliness on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in material handling, manufacturing, or warehouse environments.
• Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and 4-way lift trucks to move materials and products.
• Load and unload trucks and incoming shipments.
• Deliver parts and materials to production lines as needed.
• Check in parts and kitting orders and review work orders or BOMs.
• Maintain proper material flow to support production schedules.
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform general housekeeping and trash removal as needed.
