Job summary

Superior Industrial Solutions is seeking a Material Handler for our Cowpens, SC facility. This full-time role on the 1st shift involves moving products, reading chemical paperwork, sampling for QC, labeling, and preparing shipments.

You will operate a forklift, handle 55 lb items, and maintain a safe, clean workspace. Training for forklift certification is provided, with strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong safety mindset.
• Forklift certification (training is provided).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to work with co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Transfer products into and out of pails, drums, and totes using transfer pumps and hoses.
• Read paperwork with chemical amounts and blending instructions.
• Pull product samples and submit them to the Lab for quality control.
• Label containers and secure closures.
• Inspect, label, store, and prepare products for shipment.
• Stage, load, and unload pails, drums, and totes.
• Operate a forklift.
• Wear required PPE for safety.
• Keep your work area safe, clean, and orderly.
• Lift and/or move 55 lbs.
• Cross-train in areas such as shipping/receiving, bulk handling, inventory control, chemical packaging, fiberglass handling, tote cleaning, preventive maintenance, and yard truck spotting

What We’re Looking For

We are currently seeking a Material Handler to work at ourCowpens, SC location.

Schedule

• Full-time, 1st shift
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., additional hours may be required
• Pay:$21.50
