Superior Industrial Solutions in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Shipping & Receiving associate to handle order pulling, loading/unloading, and daily forklift tasks.

You will inspect paperwork, label containers, submit samples to the Lab for QC, and coordinate with carriers while maintaining safety and efficiency on the warehouse floor.

What We’re Looking For

Our Indianapolis, Indiana location is currently seeking a Shipping & Receiving person to work the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday overtime.

This position will be responsible for pulling and staging orders, loading/off-loading common carriers and Superior transferred non-bulk freight. Working well with others and the ability to jump in and assist other production areas when needed will be a must.

What You Do

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required in accordance with the potential hazard and potential for exposure.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, clean operation of equipment and work area.
• May cross train in various positions including shipping/receiving, handling of bulk product, inventory control, chemical packaging, fiberglass handling, tote cleaning, preventative plant maintenance, and/or yard truck spotting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong safety mindset
• Must have effective verbal and written skills, enabling clear and strong interactions with co-workers, chemists, administrative staff, delivery personnel, and management.
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs
