Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a full-time Material Handler to coordinate material movement in Spartanburg, SC. The role includes delivering to machine centers, staging, stocking, inbound/outbound material processing, and collaboration with production management, trucking, and customer service.

Duties include shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks with strict adherence to health and safety policies. Essential duties cover operating warehouse equipment, maintaining certifications, reading and following

Qualifications

• Prior equipment, shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure.
• Solid working knowledge of warehouse processes and related manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate warehouse equipment including motorized forklift with attachments.
• Move material within facility to ensure machine centers are stocked and deliveries are loaded/unloaded.
• Keep warehouse organized meeting housekeeping, storage, and cleanliness requirements.
• Verify and track material moved (quantity, size, packaging).
• Complete all necessary documents for internal or external use.
• Work with minimal supervision and handle moderate complex issues.

Description

We are looking for a full-time Material Handler who will be responsible to meet the goals and objectives of the organization by orchestrating the material movement throughout the warehouse and/or facility including but not limited to delivery to machine centers, staging, stocking , organizing, inbound and outbound material processing . Working closely with machine centers, trucking , customer service and production management . Duties m ay include shipping , receiving and /or inventory duties.

• Keeps warehouse and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging and cleanliness requirements
