Job summary

Nordson Industrial Coating Solutions in Clinton, SC is seeking a Warehouse Technician to join our logistics team. You will perform quality checks, handle parts pulling, packing, shipping, and ensure accurate documentation and labeling for shipments.

• Order Packing: use spray foam and inserts to secure items in boxes.
• Shipping Orders: process UPS and FedEx domestic orders with correct labeling.
• RMA Receiving: unpack returns and initiate RMA in the system.
• Receiving: verify supplier deliveries against PO and process into inventory.
• Forktruck Operation: safely operate forklifts for moving items.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Attention to Detail: Required to minimize errors and ensure accurate documentation.
• Perform quality checks on all outgoing and incoming shipments.
• Reliability (Attendance, Task Trustworthiness): Must consistently adhere to work schedules. Must be dependable in carrying out responsibilities to completion.
• Parts Order Pulling: Locate the correct parts based on the order details. Stocking kanbans.
• Ensure proper pulling, packing, and labeling of parts orders for shipping.
• Order Packing: Utilize spray foam and pre-shaped foam inserts to secure items in shipping boxes. Ensure that all items are packed in a manner that prevents damage during transit.
• Shipping Orders: Process UPS and FedEx domestic orders through the respective shipping software. Ensure that all packages have correct labeling and postage before dispatch.
• RMA Receiving: Unpack returned items and verify their condition. Initiate the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process in the system.
• Receiving: Receive supplier deliveries and verify against purchase orders. Inspect the condition of received goods and process them into inventory.
• Forktruck Operation: Safely operate forklifts for the movement of large and heavy items.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of shipping/receiving/warehouse process and previous lift truck experience preferred.

Warehouse Technicians typically work in a manufacturing or production environment.
