Hanwha Aerospace USA, a leader in flight-critical Aerospace/Defense components, operates out of four facilities in Connecticut. We seek talented individuals for roles in Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Support.

Position: Material Handler – Non-Exempt

Location: Cheshire, CT

Reports to: Logistic Manager

Responsibilities

• Verify raw materials and enter inventory in ERP system following SOPs.
• Label incoming products and store them appropriately.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Assist with inventory movement and accurate order processing.
• Complete paperwork and electronic data promptly.
• Handle raw materials according to specified criteria.
• Report inventory discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Coordinate with supervisors on issues and suggest improvements.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.

Work Environment

• Must lift/push/pull at least 35 lbs. and work on feet for long periods.
• Ability to sit, stand, reach, bend, and move around the facility.

Requirements

• Must be a US Person and able to work with ITAR data.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years in material handling or kit building.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing, preferably aerospace.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; ERP experience a plus.
• English proficiency.
• Willing to travel domestically up to 10%.
• Good communication and ability to interpret work instructions.
