Job summary

ASK Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler - Shipping for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:30am–3:00pm) for a 6-month assignment.

The role focuses on safely fulfilling orders and moving pallets to staging and onto customer trucks using pallet jacks and walkie rider equipment. Candidates must hold forklift certification, have at least 6 months of forklift experience, be able to lift 50 pounds, read orders in English, and work either independently or as part of a team while maintaining accuracy and

• Load and unload pallets to and from trucks.
• Use handheld computers & other technology to track load progress.
• Ability to be flexible with day-to-day responsibilities & work in other areas according to business need.
• Overtime as required.

Job description

Title: Material Handlers - Shipping

Shift: 1st shift M-F 6:30am - 3:00pm

Duration: 6 months

Must be Forklift Certified Material Handler-Shipping is ultimately responsible for managing process flow in our Shipping department. This includes safely & properly fulfilling orders for our customers in a timely manner. Using tools such as pallet jacks, Material Handlers transition pallets of product to our order staging area and ultimately onto the customer truck for shipment to the products' final destination.
