Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Material Handler to move products within the facility, load and unload shipments, and ensure accurate relabeling and repacking of orders. The role requires safe operation of forklifts and attention to detail in a team environment.

The position includes staging materials for shipping, auditing for accuracy, and assisting with warehouse housekeeping. Candidates should be able to lift 60 lbs and have Forklift experience preferred. Monday–Friday work with steady day hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Forklift experience preferred and must operate safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate industrial equipment in a tight warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments as needed.
• Relabel and repack orders as instructed.

Job description

The material handler is responsible for safely and efficiently moving material and products throughout the facility. This includes transporting product throughout the facility, loading and unloading shipments when needed, repacking and relabeling orders, operating forklifts, or other equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work well in a team. Main responsibilities in this position will be processing orders that need pulled from inventory stock.Qualities & Responsibilities:Safely operate industrial motorized equipment in an enclosed and tight work environmentLoading and unloading of van trailers and flatbeds when neededFollow all established safety policies and procedures.Stage correct material in warehouse as instructedRemoval of trash and regrind to appropriate areas as instructed.Cross training in Pack Out area to be able to help with the wrapping and staging of completed pallets ready for the Shipping department as well as auditing for accuracy when requiredResponsible for helping with house cleaning in designated areasAbility to relabel and repack orders are instructed by supervisorOther duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Ability to lift 60 lbs.Fork truck experience preferred.Good understanding of safe practicesGood organization and housekeeping skillsAbility to proficiently and safely use fork truck to transport finished product throughout the facility.Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, carry, and manipulate various itemsFrequently required to stand and walk.Education and Experience:High School Diploma or GEDSchedule:Monday - Friday 9am to 6pm
