Job summary

ASK Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler - Shipping for 1st shift (Mon-Fri, 6:30am–3:00pm) for a 6-month assignment.

The role focuses on safely fulfilling orders and moving pallets to staging and onto customer trucks using pallet jacks and walkie rider equipment. Candidates must hold forklift certification, have at least 6 months of forklift experience, be able to lift 50 pounds, read orders in English, and work either independently or as part of a team while maintaining accuracy and

Qualifications

Forklift certification required.
Minimum 6 months forklift experience.
Must read orders and record information in English.
Lifts up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Operate a walkie rider pallet jack for pulling orders & transporting pallets of product.
Be a motivated and open-minded team member, willing to adapt to new techniques and processes.
Ability to work independently or as a team to meet established goals.
Load and unload pallets to and from trucks.
Use handheld computers & other technology to track load progress.
Ability to be flexible with day-to-day responsibilities & work in other areas according to business need.
Overtime as required.
