Job description

Position Title: Material Handler - 1st Shift



Wage: $19.50/hour



Shift: 1st



Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm (Monday - Friday)

Material Handler Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Receives raw material, unloads trailers and records transactions using a data collection device

- Stages customer orders using a data collection device utilizing FIFO principles

- Ensure regulatory compliance, including truck sealing and temperature recording

- Moves finished products to warehouse and verify the proper amount of finished goods were scanned

- Records all information on raw material as it is brought into the Feed Room and verifies that it is cleared for use on foreign materials check list

- Operates pallet stacker for vertical stacking of product in coolers

- Inspects all incoming and outbound loads to ensure product quality standards are met

- Picks and loads customer orders onto trailers

- Operates stretch wrapper

- Transports chemical barrels and containers

- Receives records and distributes inbound package shipments

- Uses cleaning materials for sanitation processes

- Completes all paperwork associated with essential job functions



Requirements:

- High school diploma or general education (GED) and 3-6 months of prior relevant manufacturing experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience

- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs - 50% of the shift

- Ability to stand for 100% of the shift

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and repetitive environment

- Ability to work independently and with others

- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

- Ability to work in hot or cold environments
