Surge is seeking temporary Production/Material Handlers to support daily manufacturing operations. This hands-on role focuses on preparing, organizing, and staging materials and containers for production in a busy plant environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, safety-minded, and comfortable standing and moving in a fast-paced setting. Roles are temporary with 12-hour shifts and require adherence to safety procedures.

Formación

• Experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material handling preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and dependable attendance.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Safety-conscious approach to all tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Level and rake preforms in open bins to ensure materials are properly positioned.
• Place lids on bins as required.
• Insert bags into bins based on product requirements.
• Build and stage Gaylord boxes for production.
• Strap and secure Gaylord boxes.
• Build and assemble bins as needed.
• Move and stage materials to designated areas.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines.
• Perform other general production and material handling duties as assigned.

About the Role

We are hiring Temporary Production/Material Handlers to support daily operations in a busy manufacturing environment. This is a hands‑on position focused on preparing, organizing, and staging materials and containers for production.

The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working on their feet in a fast‑paced plant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Level and rake preforms in open bins to ensure materials are properly positioned
• Place lids on bins as required
• Insert bags into bins based on product requirements
• Build and stage Gaylord boxes for production
• Strap and secure Gaylord boxes
• Build and assemble bins as needed
• Move and stage materials to designated areas

• Must follow all required PPE and safety requirements
