Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a shop hourly Material Handler on the receiving team to ensure kits and manufactured parts are delivered to the correct location on time. You will review job paperwork for accuracy and support continuous improvement efforts on the Material Movement Team.

The role requires forklift and cart tugger operation, basic math skills, and strong communication. You will work in a busy manufacturing environment with emphasis on safety and lean processes.

Qualifications

• Prior supply chain/material handling experience preferred.
• Strong written communication for memos and emails.
• Strong verbal communication with BAC customers and coworkers.
• Competent in basic math including fractions and decimals.
• Understanding of Lean principles (5S, Kanban, one-piece flow).

Responsibilities

• Assist and train junior mechanics.
• Meet or exceed production goals for shift.
• Support safety goals and maintain 5S in the department.
• Move sheet metal material from end weld to assembly lines.
• Handle movement of all kitted material to production departments.
• Ensure on-time delivery of products to correct locations.
• Maintain neat staging area and anticipate line needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
