Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to manage the transfer of materials between Receiving, Production, and Distribution. You will operate forklifts, scan and move items, and maintain clean, accurate inventory records to support daily production schedules.

The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and effective communication with line leads and supervisors to prevent shortages and ensure timely material flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift and/or reach truck certification required.
• Reading comprehension skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and OSHA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and/or reach truck to pick up and deliver materials to areas in Production.
• Move skids to stock area or Shipping/Receiving area using forklift/reach truck.
• Follow OSHA and other safety regulations.
• Physically transfer materials between warehouse, production, and distribution.
• Utilize handheld scanner and forklift tablet to ensure accurate digital transfer.
• Keep receiving area, warehouse, and raw materials area clean and neat.
• Recognize inventory issues and notify supervisor of shortages/overages.
• Communicate with Line Leads regarding inventory availability and holds.
