Job summary

Plastic Recycling is seeking a Material Handler to safely manage materials across the plant, including shipping/receiving, loading raw materials, and packaging finished products after extrusion. You will move materials between departments and maintain orderly storage to support continuous production.

The role requires forklift certification and 1-2 years in material handling, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift certification and experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in material handling, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety guidelines.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle shipping and receiving duties and verify against purchase orders.
• Receive incoming raw materials and stage outgoing shipments with proper documentation.
• Support extrusion lines by loading feedstock and packaging finished products.
• Move materials between production areas using forklifts; maintain organized storage.
• Complete accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records; ensure safety compliance.
