Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2–4 years of experience handling materials in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
• Forklift certification is required prior to operation.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and material flow processes.
• Valid driver's license is required and ability to read work orders.
• Demonstrated safety focus and productivity in a physical role.

Responsibilities

• Move, load, and transport materials between storage, production, and loading docks using hand tools or equipment.
• Read work orders to determine material needs and priorities.
• Monitor inventory levels, maintain storage areas, and ensure materials are properly staged.
• Maintain and update inventory records in systems or manually.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment per safety guidelines.
• Create work instructions and support training for junior material handlers.
• Coordinate material flow to support production schedules and efficiency.
