Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an experienced distribution center operator to support inbound, outbound, returns, acquisitions, and other warehouse functions. You will process merchandise, verify documentation, and use RF scanners and WMS to maintain inventory accuracy.

The role emphasizes safe work practices, productivity, and the ability to train teammates. Experience with PIE is a plus, and the company offers a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, stock, pick, pack, stage, and ship merchandise accurately and efficiently.
• Match item numbers, quantities, manifests, freight bills, and shipping documentation with physical merchandise.
• Process inbound shipments, outbound orders, returns, acquisitions inventory, and vendor returns per policy.
• Operate RF scanners, handheld devices, voice-picking systems, WMS, and related warehouse tech.
• Store and retrieve merchandise from floor locations and racks.
• Load/unload trailers and secure shipments to prevent damage.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through scanning, labeling, auditing, and discrepancy resolution.
• Rebox, relabel, sort, and prepare merchandise for shipment or inventory placement.
• Handle hazardous materials per safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain productivity and safety across tasks and workflows.
• Keep areas clean and free of hazards; report unsafe conditions.
• Train others in assigned areas when needed.
