Job summary

Cascade Die Casting Group in Sparta, MI is seeking a Material Handler to move aluminum castings, scrap hoppers, packaging, WIP castings and finished goods throughout the plant. You will keep areas organized, load/unload trailers, and maintain safety and quality standards.

You will also complete daily paperwork, follow supervisor directions, and participate in continuous improvement efforts while maintaining required MIOSHA forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math, reading, and writing.
• Forklift experience required.
• High School Diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep production workstations stocked with material needed to produce.
• Load and unload trailers and trucks as required.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area consistent with safety rules.
