Job summary

Gradian Thermal Solutions is seeking a Material Flow & Line Setup Engineer to optimize material movements and design new production lines on a site in Minnesota. The role sits at the intersection of industrial engineering, logistics, and manufacturing operations, ensuring material availability and efficient line layouts.

Up to 75% travel is required on-site. The engineer will lead cross-functional line commissioning, develop line balancing, and create SOPs for ramp-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience

Responsibilities

• Material Flow Management: Analyze and optimize flow of materials, identify bottlenecks, design replenishment systems.
• New Line Setup & Changeovers: Layout design, line balancing, and SOP creation for new lines.
• Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean/Six Sigma, track KPIs, and partner with automation/engineering teams.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with Planning, Procurement, EHS, and Production teams to execute changes.
