Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking a Material Handling Supervisor to lead warehouse and material flow activities and support daily plant operations. You will oversee receiving, inventory, and production support teams to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires prior supervisory experience in manufacturing or warehousing, strong leadership and communication skills, and a focus on safety and continuous improvement. This is a full-time on-site position in Warren, MI.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience in supervising teams in manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced plant setting.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise material handling, receiving, inventory, and production support teams.
• Ensure materials are delivered to production lines accurately and on time.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent production delays.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and allocate manpower and resources to meet production goals.
• Promote workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage material handling equipment and ensure safe operating procedures are followed.
• Prepare daily reports related to safety, productivity, inventory, and operational performance.
• Partner with plant leadership and union representatives to support workforce engagement and resolve concerns.
