Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2+ years of materials experience.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Manufacturing/automotive experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support for material flow processes; document standards and procedures, provide training, ensure materials are available in designated stock, markets and line locations.
  • Collaborate with Planning & Inventory Control, Production, Material Handlers, and Supply Chain to ensure robust policies and continuous improvement.
  • Develop material flow processes and equipment designs to optimize efficiency and safety.
  • Lay out floor space analyses and storage requirements; participate in plant layout activities.
  • Support lean materials flow initiatives and implement improvements across production and warehousing operations.
  • Interact with other functional groups and vendors on technical/administrative matters.
