ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Material Flow Engineer to design, analyze, and optimize end-to-end material handling systems across manufacturing environments. You will own projects from concept through commissioning, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve throughput and reduce bottlenecks.

You should have a bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years in material flow, automation, or warehouse design.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, automation, material handling, or logistics engineering.
• Experience designing material flow systems including AGVs, AMRs, conveyors and ASRS.
• Strong warehouse design and factory logistics optimization knowledge.
• Experience with PFEP strategies and vendor coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Own full lifecycle of material flow and process equipment from concept to handoff.
• Design and implement automated/semi-automated material handling systems.
• Develop architectures, throughput models, and business cases for growth.
• Optimize warehouse layouts, storage, and material flow pathways.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to integrate with MES, WMS, and PLC systems.
• Lead project execution: vendor management, RFQ, FAT/SAT, scheduling.
• Analyze KPIs to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
