Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Logistics Engineer to optimize end-to-end material and logistics flows within our manufacturing operations. You will analyze, improve, and implement logistics processes to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong analytical skills and collaboration with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Production and Quality teams. Entry-level candidates with 0–2 years of experience are welcome, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of logistics, manufacturing, or industrial engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support takt time planning, process and product changes coordination.
• Analyze and optimize material flow from suppliers to production.
• Execute and implement approved logistics improvements.
• Participate in continuous improvement for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Conduct logistics studies like frequency and capacity analyses.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions.
• Assist in updating internal and external logistics configurations.
• Support warehouse and material handling optimization.
• Monitor logistics metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Production, Quality and Operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and standards.
