Job summary

Madix, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Data/ERP Specialist to create and maintain material master data, BOMs, and routings in SAP. You will review engineering drawings, perform data clean-up, and support multiple teams with accurate system information.

The role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Excel/Word/Outlook, and the ability to learn ERP processes. Office-based with some floor visits to understand production flows.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to follow standardized processes and learn ERP systems.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• ERP experience preferred; SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain material master records, BOMs, and routings in SAP following established standards.

Job Tasks

• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and process documentation to ensure data accuracy
• Perform routine data maintenance, corrections, and clean‑up activities
• Support Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Production, Purchasing, and Costing teams with accurate system data
• Assist with documentation, audits, and basic system reporting
• Escalate data discrepancies, missing information, or unclear requirements to senior team members

Education and Experience

Work Environment

This position is primarily computer‑based and performed at a desk in an office environment. Regular visits to the manufacturing floor are required to understand production processes, verify data accuracy, and support cross‑functional coordination. The role requires the ability to safely navigate production areas.
