Job summary

Primoris Pipeline seeks an on-site Material Receiver to support procurement and expediting. You will witness deliveries, verify descriptions and quantities, and review serious shipping documents while traveling to various job sites as needed.

You will maintain material traceability, submit receiving reports, and help resolve issues with shipments, materials, and quality records in a cloud-based environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in material receiving, coordination, expediting, or related field.
• Able to travel to job sites with limited notice.
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, etc.
• Basic computer and data entry skills; experience with cloud-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Witness material deliveries on site.
• Verify material descriptions and quantities.
• Review Bill of Lading (BOLs), Material Test Reports (MTRs), tally reports, and shipper documents.
• Compare incoming materials to shipping releases.
• Complete and submit receiving reports.
• Document shortages, overages and damages using SOD reports.
• Maintain material traceability and track heat numbers and MTRs.
• Coordinate with Procurement to resolve shipment or material issues.

**Job Overview:**About the RoleThis role will support the Procurement and Expediting functions by acting as an on-site representative of Primoris Pipeline. The Material Receiver will be required to travel, effectively communicate with the Procurement team in the office, and work independently with minimal supervision.
